I see the art, the passion, the movement, the shift that you are trying to make within yourself. Instead of questioning it, your sanity, and really anything about you- Iโm going to show up for it and love it with all that I've got. Iโm going to honor your growth and create a solace, a deep acceptance for it to happen instead of holding you to the standard of what youโve been. My intention and hope for what I see is to see a world and society more and more that embraces and seeks out opinions that we don't agree with as we work past our own confirmation bias. Out of that comfort zone, I hope that we can put ourselves in a position that offers transparency, creates a safe place to speak up, and offers growth and opportunity to shift and change positions or standpoints without shame or embarrassment. I believe We are in need of more listening and more curiosity. I believe that it is through connection we can offer understanding and change.
My promise is to seek out truths beyond what I may know, to align and act within my values at all times as I listen and offer opportunities for shift and growth through my questions and my expressions towards positions that I may not agree with. And lastly, I promise to not be silent or play small anymore but to use my voice to express my truth.
